The 99 beautiful names of Allah (also known as al-Asma-ul-Husna) is names of Allah (the god). For e.g. Some of his names are Ar-Rahman (the gracious) and Al-Jabaar (the irresistible). Allah's Messenger (ï·º) said, "Allah has ninety-nine Names, one-hundred less one; and he who memorized them all by heart will enter Paradise." To count something means to know it by heart.

About Allah: Allah is our god. We believe that he is one. One of his names is Al-Wahid (the one). Associating partners with Allah (S.W.T) is called Shirk. It is one of the worst sins in Islam as well. Allah is the most generous of all. Al-Barr (The generous). In the Quraan, surah Alaq ayah 3 " Iqra wa rabb u kal akram. Read and your Rabb is generous". He is also mighty and powerful, no one is equal to him. Surah Ikhlas "Qul hu wallah ho ahad. Allah hus samd. Lam yalad wa lam u lad. Wa lam ya kul laho kufu wan ahad. Say, he is the one. The eternal one. He neither begets and is not begotten. No one is equal to him".
