Repentance

Repentance in Islam:

What is repentance?

Repentance is asking forgiveness from Allah from your sins. e.g. You can repent to Allah (SWT) asking for forgiveness for not fasting,praying, lying e.t.c. There are so many types of sins you can repent for. As Muhammad (SAWS) said: The one who repents to Allah from his sins is like the person who doesn't have sins at all or barely any sins. Repenting is really good. You get closer to Allah, just like when you are praying. You even repent in Salaat (prayer). This is why it's good to repent to Allah, just like our prophet Muhammad (SAWS) taught us.
